Fly away Escape is a painting with several stories within. One a caged bird that can escape but doesn’t as if you look closely the door is open. A lone person sits under a net in the background as birds or the person can not escape due to the net above. One egg is painted as a normal egg yet there is another flameworked egg in a latticino nest made of DNA. A DNA stair case holds a birds egg bones from a dove and a cage. It is in our DNA weather or not we are able to escape. A dove watches over the whole scene. It is an experiment in abstraction using oil paint and glass.
